What type of DHCP information are you getting from your router. Open a command prompt and type ipconfig /all >>C:\ipconfig.txt (that should put a text file called ipconfig.txt in the root of your C drive) open the file and examine the information regarding your specific network adapter, you can edit the file and for security edit the actual line for your physical address, then attach it to your next post | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number PartsIsParts OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit CPU Intel Pentium D 3Ghz Motherboard ASRock G31M-S Memory 4 Gigs PC 6400 Graphics Card Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Integrated Monitor(s) Displays AOC 19inch X2 Screen Resolution 1024 X 768 (I'm Old) Keyboard Generic Made in China Mouse Logitech USB Optical Scroll PSU 500 watt..don't know mfg. Thanks allot If you can give me the model router you have and also the version number on the router I can check to see if it's on the Windows 7 compatiblity list. If it's not on the list there is a good chance that it won't work. There could also be a firmware update that will allow it to work with Windows 7.

Have you setup IP address manually or it is DHCP.
BTW, default gateway in ur ipconfig is missing.
Are you able to ping your modem or router? If u have a router, disengage it and conn to the modem and check. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number MacBook Pro OS Lion CPU i5 Memory 4GB Graphics Card Intel Screen Resolution 1200x800 Hard Drives Seagate FreeAgent GO 250GB Ext. HDD |
