there are websites with default router admin passwords, listed by model if that's what you are looking for. if u used your own and forgot it, then reset the router (paper clip thru a hole, on some of them)

Easy Fix

This could be an easy fix we just need more info like the brand and model of the router and if it is only the wireless password you forgot if so we may be able to help you log into the router and change that.

open internet explorer and in the address bar type:

192.168.0.1 (sometimes 192.168.1.1)

username: admin (usually)
password: is either blank, or password

this will get u in the router homepage, then there'll be an option called 'wireless' or 'security', u should be able to find ur password there, u might need to check a box that says 'show characters'.

hope this helps.

that will get get u in the routers homepage

Changing Router Password
I need to access my router's (Cisco E3000) configuration utility, but of course, that requires entering a username and password, which I guess that I must have used something even unusual to me, because now it won't accept anything that I can think of. How do I discard the current username and...

Router Password?
OK, not quite a Windows 7 issue, but since this appears to be such a knowledgeable place I thought I'd ask here first - a client has a router that someone else installed, and who is no longer available through any means, apparently. They have a Draytek Vigor 2820 router, which works well, and also...

Accessing What Password Is From Router ?
Hello, Trying to help son out with this. Other complication is that I am not very sharp re Routers. Routers have always been above my IQ level. Son has a typical G type of LinkSys Router in house. Was set up by a neighbor who is no longer in area. Works fine, but was apparently set up...
