WIN7 problems with internet access in 2003 domain

    Dear all,

I'm facing a real strange problem in our WIN2003 network. We are running around 15 machines with XP in out local domain where there's no problem with Internet connectivity.
Now we started to shift from XP to WIN7 (using a new machine) but
    # we can easily logon to the domain
    # we can see/ping all local machines/servers including our Fortigate firewall
    # and it takes us hours to get access to the outside world on the WIN7 machine
    # once we suceeded, there are "losses" many many times which causes big problems handlings mails (outlook/kerio) or web page access (Firefox,IE)

    Any idea?

Thx already a lot in advance...

You may want to try disabling IPV6. Some have said it can cause problems and since you're in a WS2003 domain, IPV6 isn't used anyway.

Thx RedBirdDad - I think I did this already, but I'm not sure. I'll check this a.s.a.p because I'm not in the office today. I'll let you know. I wish all of you a happy new year
