Cannot access Netgear 614 v9 router

I recently purchased this router. I have a new Dell laptop with Win 7 on it...Software would not completly load because it is not compatible with OS. However router works..I am able to connect through roadrunner with Time Warner, no problem. I cannot access router at 198.168.0.1 and cannot find anything on updated software for win 7. Need help finding either win7 drivers or software for this router that will work.

    Hi,welcome to Seven Forums
Heres the latest firmware for your router.
    Answer

Some questions, they will help us to help you:)
Have you right clicked the .exe file or the application file for the net gear cd and tried "Troubleshoot Compatability" ? If not try that.
What is roadrunner with Time Warner (i thought it was a cartoon only??)

You will not reach your router using that address, the proper address should be 192.168.1.1

To be sure and to highlight any other problems can you press the Windows Key+R>Then type CMD>Hit Enter

Once Command Promt opens type ipconfig and put it full screen.
And then use the snipping tool to get a screen shot of what it says.
Just go to start menu>all programs>Accessories>Snipping Tool
Then highlight the bit of the screen with the data on it (CMD) and save to an area ,documents or pictures etc
Upload it here,if you dont know how,you can follow Brinks tutorial
