    Internet via LAN not working

    this appears while i connect ethernet wire via a hub at my place but when i connect the modem wire directly to laptop internet works but not through any hub internet stops working

    that's a lot of sketchy info tell us more of what's going on....quickly I would say turn off the computer unplug power to the modem and or router then plug power back in on modem first wait for modem lights to be stable power on router wait for light to be stable and turn computer back on that way you renew the entire IP chain
