No signal on my 3 connect after reinstall

Hi can anyone help. I've just reinstalled my operating system and now my 3 zte usb dongle shows no signal (all greyed out) so I'm unable to connect to the internet. I had to do this as I had a virus previously so decided to go for an operating system reinstall. It was working fine previously. I've tried anti virus and installed service pack but still same problem. i've uninstalled the modem and then reinstalled it but still same problem. The modem works fine on other machines. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi and welcome

You need to type device manager in search. go to the usb section and see if your device is listed there. Is it? does it have a yellow triangle over it? Are there any other "unknown" devices with yellow triangles?

If your device isnt listed, or has a yellow triangle on it, you will need to reinstall the driver.

Let us know if you need help

Hi, Just had a look in device manager and there are no yellow question marks on anything and the usb's seem to be working fine as the drivers for the zte usb modem installed fine. So am really puzzled....3 connect opens automatically on connecting modem into port but all greyed out, show 'no service' no signal bars. Technical support say problem lies with computer somewhere as modem works ok on other machines.
