Win 2000 To Win 7 Sharing?

Hi guys.

I am looking for a hand with a Network Sharing Issue.

I just got a Laptop with Win 7 I need to get to files on a Partion of my hard drive on a Win 2000 SP4 machine.

I have a Linksys network system and i can see the Win 2000 Machine on my Laptop but it will not connect.

Keeps promting me for a password

I think i am set up as the Admin on both machines (Win 7 is new to me) and dont have alot of seat time with this yet.

Is there a way to transfer files between them. or should i just use a pen drive?

I will need to transfer large amounts of data between the too machines and having the sharing setup is prefered!

Thanks Guys!
