Is there a way to reveal my network credential password?

I just installed a music server software bundle that I want to set up to see my NAS drive, where my music is stored. To do this I have to enter the network credentials username and password in the software control panel. Of course I forgot the password for this network device. I went to Edit Window Credential, but it will only allow me to delete or change the password, not see the existing password. Is there any way I can reveal my own forgotten password?

    Hi Tony22

IF this is a wireless network password

Press on the button on the keyboard and the letter R . You will get a Run window

Type in ncpa.cpl press <ENTER> or the Ok button

Right-click on the wireless one and select Status from the context menu.

When the Wi-Fi Status dialog loads up, click on the Wireless Properties button

Then you will need to switch over to the Security tab

check the Show characters check box to reveal your password

I'm not sure it is. I'll give it a try, but this is the password that I assigned to the network share which is my NAS drive.

No, that wasn't it. It's the password that's tied to the NAS as it is shown in the Network Credentials panel.
