Using 2 different internet connections at the same time

    I have 2 internet connections.
One is through DSL Cable, which connects to the ethernet port.
Second is a wireless wimax, which connects through usb.

What I want is to use one connection for browsing internet and second for downloading. Is it possible, if yes, how?

    This is a good question.

Windows 7 has a virtual wifi miniport adapter built in now. I wonder if you could do this if you have two internet connections. I think you can split one....so it is reasonable you could use two. It may get complicated to use them like you are suggesting.

I THINK what you are suggesting is impossible. You would have to use one connection on one machine and one on another.

Although I must admit...I don't know the answer for sure, but would like to know.

Just registered to post a reply to this as I have been looking for an answer for some time now.

Network Load Balancing (NLB) is integrated into Windows 7. Just make sure your gateways use different IPs.

    i.e.
    router #1: 192.168.1.1
    router #2: 192.168.2.1
