Can't share/stream to anything
I'm about ready to pull my hair out on this one.
The Setup: I have 3 laptops (wireless) and an Xbox 360 (wired). New laptop is a Lenovo T400 with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, old laptops are a Lenovo T42 with Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit, and a Dell Latitude Vista Business 32 bit.
I have setup the media sharing exactly the same on both Win7 laptops, allow full control, all remote control, etc. I have all services started the same on both (Media Center, WMP Network, etc). The Xbox 360 can see files on Win7 32bit and Vista 32bit, will not see the 64bit Win7. I've also tried to set it up as Media Center Extender, works fine with 32bit but not 64. If I open WMP on all the laptops, the 64bit can see libraries from both 32 bit laptops, the 32bit laptops can see eachother, but neither laptop or xbox can see the 64bit. I have Windows firewall disabled everywhere, all laptops are running the same antivirus package.
Bottom line - Is there some issue when it comes to streaming from a Win7 64bit installation? I've also tried the 64bit machine wired and wireless, still nothing. All drivers are up to date on all machines. I've also gone through the Homegroup setup on both Win7 machines and checked all sharing options there.
Another kicker is that I also have the T42 Win7 32bit mirrored as a virtual PC within the 64bit Win7, and the Xbox can stream from that virtual PC just fine, but not from the host machine.
