    Well, I had to upgrade from 32 bit Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 64 bit Professional

    Try this tool Drivermax, there is a feature in it to find drivers for unidentified hardware. It is free, but I will pm you my information so you won't have to wait for them to send you reg code (yes it free, but they still email you a reg code)

    Is that because the only drivers on the Dell site were for 64 bit systems?

    You have a better chance of finding 64bit drivers from the manufacturer.

    Well, yes and no. I upgraded to 64 bit mainly because my computer would have no trouble handling it, and that it would be better for me in the long run. Though the driver compatability was part of the issue. @chev65

    I'm glad that those driver service sites are actually good for something. Figured it had to be a driver problem of some sort.

    Most of the time I do not trust them at all because they are always trying to sell you stuff and there is usually endless pop ups.
