Cisco NAC Agent Log in Problems

Hey all,

I recently got an Acer 5542 Laptop, and when i arrived back at university with it and installed Cisco, it won't let me log in due to Windows Updates needing to be installed, despite Windows being up to date.

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit Home Edition on my laptop. I know the program works because I also installed it onto a Vista laptop and it worked straight away.

Anyone got any ideas as to why it won't work properly on Windows 7? and is there any work around/Alternative solution to this problem

Thanks Very much

Do you have Microsoft Security Essential?

if you have this software installed, chances are it will look for updates that is relevant this software and microsoft.

but if you do you can try to uninstall it, and install avast instead, which is a lot better in my opinion, and it should work fine.
