Win 7 Starter Internet Connection Sharing...

I have a netbook that has a USB modem from clear and windows 7 starter. I have several other laptops with windows 7 premium within range of the netbook. I got the adhoc network set up and had it working. Though it told me that I did not have the permission to start ICS. I even went through the services applet to try to get it started. Then it said it started but then was stopped. Is there a work around to enable this in starter or a FREE third party app that would make this possible? Just to let people know in advance, putting the usb modem on the other computers is NOT an option. Yes it would work but it is not possible due to the environment restrictions. Thanks for the help in advance.

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to do but this might help.

Ok it needs to be done wireless also. BTW, the Clear modem shows up as a wired connection.

Did you say you have Starter? ICS not available for Starter.

Btw, the tut about for the cross-over, the principle applys also for wireless. All that matters is that all machines are on the same network.
