    Wireless download speed ~.38 Mbs

My wireless download speed has dropped to about .38Mbs since I installed Win7Pro64bit. I've troubleshot with MS, HP and AT&T and still no luck. Wired it's about 1.4 Mbs so there is something amiss. Have the latest wifi driver, no router, just an AT&T/2Wire modem, 2901HG.

I've bee through the driver drill with both HP and MS. It's an Artheros AR5009 and I can find no other driver when I search for one. Re the system spec, where do I get a concise report of that, 3GB RAM, HP DV5Z-1000?

I just completed a report via Lavalys and it is BIG. Do you really want me to post that, if I can, or could you be more explicit what I should retrieve.

I'll post anything to assist with the discussion of my problem, I simply need a little guidance of what and how to provide that info.

    Ughh, 2wire modems FTL.

Something tells me that thing could be the culprit.

At you wired or wireless to that modem/router combo?

Wireless is the prob, wired to it is OK. Previous to the Win7 upgrade running Vista wireless OK. Another XP netbook wireless OK, visitors running Vista wireless OK. A Vista desktop wired is OK.
