Wireless network adapter problem

    Well i did install only driver before but again no luck, it's kinda weird that it worked before and the adapter itself still works with same drivers on other computer that also have windows 7 x64 installed.

    these adapters with the ralink chipset have been giving people fits try changing the MAC address of the adapter or look at the settings and see if it's all zeros

    I ran ipconfig /all and it weren't listed there, with getmac command the device with the same mac address was shown but with no name

    Lets not discount that you may have a dud wireless adapter. It's not recognised by the system from your ipconfig details. Check in BIOS.

    All settings in BIOS are default except speed of processor which is a bit overclocked, obviously I'll have to reinstall windows

    Doubt this. He said it works fine on his other Win 7 boxes.
