    problem hosts file

    Hello,

I am hosting a weberver on a windows 7 pc.
    It's ip address: 192.168.0.100
    Mijn domainname is: (example) www.mysite.nl
If i type from another pc on my local network in the url of the browser: www.mysite.nl, he can not find the indexpage of the webserver
I have to type my local ip address from the pc where the server is running from to view my index page: 192.168.0.100 (http://192.168.0.100)
Only then he shows me the indexpage

I was looking to the hosts file in system32/drivers/etc/hosts, and i added the last rule : 192.168.0.100 www.mysite.nl

My host file looks like this:
    # localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
    # 127.0.0.1 localhost
    # ::1 localhost
    192.168.0.100 www.mysite.nl

Computer reboot, but still when i type the address: www.mysite.nl ; he says: unable to connect
    What have i done wrong?
Why is this still not working?
He knows when i visit www.mysite.nl, he has to connect to 192.168.0.100
    But it doesn't work

Can someone help me with that problem?

    Thanks

    Nuet

192.168.0.100 is your routers internal IP. www.mysite.nl is outside your router so it cant be found.

mysite.nl is at this ip 213.247.45.137]

Go to whatismyip.com to find your outside ip
