Back info (applicable?)
I am running on a wireless network with 2 laptops (old and new). I upgraded my old laptop to Windows 7 when a fall killed the hard disk. Today I set up a homegroup between it and my new laptop (both running 64 bit Windows 7). First run through I created the workgroup from my old laptop, and although the new laptop could see and access the old one, the old one could not even see the new one. Windows troubleshooter eventually led me to leave and recreate the homegroup.
Problem
I created the new homegroup from my new laptop, and now both computers can see eachother, and the new computer can access the old computer's libraries. It would also appear that the old computer can access the new computer's libraries until you click on the library. When clicked, it makes the "opening window" click sound, and does absolutely nothing at all. When I try to look into properties it says "the properties for this item are unavailable." Any idea why it does nothing?
Any help is much appreciated.
