All you would have to do is use a switch.... and connect your laptop to your switch the ps3 to the switch and then run a line from one of the ports from the router to the switch so that the ps3 can get the itnernet as well.

I just told you what would be easier to do but if you want to use a second router in the equation...be right ahead....
your just going to make it harder on youself.

sounds like you want to wireless connect multiple devices to an existing wireless network if you have two routers you could use the second router as a wireless client bridge of the first router

What sort of router do you have now? If it's a multi-port router, why can't you put it in your room, connect the PS3 to it and have it broadcasting your wireless network from there?

You got to help us define what kind of network you are setting up.... it is really hard for us to guess your network situation.

Please information us how you want your network, how many devices.. and waht devices you have already.....

As what aurasd said, also if you have a very large house, doubble story etc. This will decide if you need more connecting devices as there will be signal issues.

If you need morre than 4 ports, and you router only has 4, then you will need a hub/switch. There is no gain in getting a second router.
