Wireless take forever to connect on boot

My wireless card is a Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN

Whenever I boot up the PC, the wireless takes upwards of 2 minutes to connect. I see the icon in the bottom right, but all it has is a blue circle on it. Then, it will connect.

My computer boots up really fast, but this holds just about everything back. Any suggestions?

Mine sometimes times out after a lenghly try. Could have something to do with power setting...no idea why it isn't consistent most other times when it takes like 5-10sec after loadup.

that is not normal, and i know that WiFi 4965AGN very well.
try deleting that connection, look for it again, connect (and input a (shared) passkey if required *encrypted signal)

*WPA, WPA2 security enabled - passkey required to connect.
