Share calendars on our network

Hi, we'd like to share the calendars within our network. Is using an Exchange Server the only way to do this & if so, what does it entail?

Alternatively, can we possibly copy a calendar file into our shared files & access that way?

That looks like it could be an option - but is it possible with Outlook calendars? Sorry I didn't clarify that in my initial post.

It looks like you can email or publish it to the internet but that's only for Outlook 2007.
