This is a laptop, correct? Hit the winlogokey+x. That should bring up windows mobility center. Mine has an on/off switch there. There is some stuff that HP put there on mine, but that doesn't appear to be one of them. I just found this myself and am curious if it is normal. I haven't wiped the HP install yet so don't know what the defaults are.

Not sure if this will help but usually you can enable radio with the Fn key and one of the F1, F2 and so on check your users manual. Hope this helps

Yes it is laptop, winlogkey and x is not working... , but for the radio I don't know how to enable it, but the Fn+F1 or F2 brings up help or system setings of connection... Still trying to find which one trigers radio :)
But I doubt that will work without switching wireless without Launch Manager

    Thnx for helpthis far...

Have you checked the user guide as someone has mentioned? There might even be a hotkey utility that could be used to enabled the adapter, downloadable from the vendor's site.

Nothing worked this far... I'm still trying to figure out how to enable wireless with or without Launch Manager... I was looking on the other forums but all say that Launc Manager needs to run if I want to enable wireless...

Hi, I have the very same problem. Pushing front button responsible for bringing up wireless doesn't work at all on Windows 7...
