Networking between Windows 2000 Server and Windows 7

I'm looking for help in trying to access my file server, running Windows 2000 Server edition, from my main computer running Windows 7 Ultimate. I'm a bit of a noob at networking, just thought I'd try something new.

Anyone with similar problems or any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Oh, almost forgot,

I'm able to access my Windows 7 computer from my Windows 2000 Server computer, but it's the other way 'round where I'm running into problems.

Have you reviewed the settings under Network and Sharing Center => Advanced Sharing Settings? Items like the file sharing connections, password protected sharing, etc?
