I want to disable Wireless on my Laptop completely

I want to disable Wireless on my Laptop completely

I have a Laptop which I dont want people using the internet on. So I need to disable the Wireless completely so there is no way of enabling it again without me using it.

I know I can just uninstall the wireless drivers, but is there a better way?

For example, when I am not on the laptop the Wireless is completely disabled and cannot be enable in ANYWAY....while I am on the computer I have the option to enable it.

    Is there anything like that?

You could disable it in the BIOS, and set a supervisor password.

An easier way would be to take the encryption key out. When you need to use it, just type it back in.

Well I want it completely disabled so it cant be used on any wireless networkds.....so encryption will not work.

Check the manual for possible location in BIOS.

Well it will take too long to put it back when I want to use it again.

not if you kept a copy of the driver on a memory stick, encrypted folder ect. takes seconds to install.

What about limiting internet access via the router? you can set what day and time you don't want internet access.
