Limited or no Connectivity problem

Ok, so I recently upgraded from windows vista(64) to windows 7 on my laptop, and am now having some pretty annoying connection problems. What is happening is that when I watch a video clip on a website, a movie on netflix, or music online I will lose internet connection. It will just randomly go to limited or no connectivity and I will have to go to status-> diagnose and it will fix the issue. I don't think it is a problem with my router because I never had this problem when I was running vista. This is getting very annoying because I often frequent sports sights that auto play video clips and I am having to reset my connection far too often. Any help with this would be much appreciated!!

It would be helpful to know your router model and version number,if you are using wireless or wired connection, and also the model number of your Dell inspiron laptop.

Using the Windows 7 upgrade from Vista feature can be problematic in some cases. If these drivers from the Dell site don't get things working I would try a clean install from the upgrade CD.

You might also want to try using a different channel for the wireless connection. You can change the channel in the router control panel. Windows 7 seems to be more sensitive to channel crossover problems than Vista was.
