VPN Services
Hey guys,
I've never quite understood the whole VPN Tunneling thing and how it can actually let you remain anonymous.
For example, https://www.ipredator.se/ - This service is fairly new, however services like this have been around for a while.
Now on their site they state this;
Now what throws me off, is even hiding from your ISP. To me, I understand it this way. All your raw outgoing data has to travel through ISP equipment/swarms no matter what, I could see a service sending back encrypted data to your computer making it hard for people to find out what it is, but in a sense doesn't the information still come back to one simple location - your ISP generated IP.Your existing ISP will not be able to intercept and track your applications or communication
· Your existing ISP can not limit what you can do nor limit what information you can access
· Other organizations or individuals can’t intercept or track your applications or communication.
I mean I can see it being encrypted, not knowing what it is and where it is going, but it all ends up in the same place? Isn't your ISP the first to see what you send and receive?
I don't know if I made sense, lol, anyone care to explain how a VPN Tunneling service would actually be able to hide what is going on from your own ISP?
