Thats funny because just a minute ago Aem insisted that the DNS flush would have no effect LOL. Sheesh.
Anyway, it sounds like you might be missing some system files or something because you should be able to get online.
Try running the sfc/scannow command, run as admin, let it complete the scan and see if it finds anything.

Take a look at Network And Sharing Center => Change Adapter Settings again. Right click on one of the adapters and select "Properties". Let's see what's attached to the adapters.

No adaptor shows up at all yet it shows up as connected wirelessly. Very strange.
I would say this is a router or modem problem. I'm not sure if you have access but something needs to be reset or replaced or it could also be a router compatiblity problem.
Wireless Network Connection Properties
Like I said, no access to the router. The computer I'm using right now is fine, as is everyone's around me. The computer in question worked just fine up until last night.
From what I read about this type of problem it seems that the router is the likely suspect so that would lead to a compatiblity or a router setting problem of some sort.
Was this machine online with the same router last night also?
I don't think it's a router issue. Even if there's no connection at all the adapters should still show up in the IPCONFIG command results. Something's messed up in Windows itself. The registry is definitely messed up.
The key is to clean up Windows, At one point in time this all worked. Something broke.
Also, why do I have so many tunnel adapters? Should I, or do I need to, get rid of them? If so, how?
I meant the ip release/renew. DNS flush does not require you to connected out. The ip release and renew, requires you to talk to your DHCP, which if he doesn't have his own DHCP server, he'll need to connect out to the ISP/or school's DHCP server.
