(Re-) Installing a printer after firmware update

Hi - I was able to solve connect issues by updating firmware on my wireless router - wifi weirdness

But now my printer is not available (to this or any other laptop/macbook on the network.

How do I install/re-install my brother 9840CDW to my little network here?

    Help! I need it! Thanks

Have you disabled your network then re-enabled it & Also reset your router ??

Go into your router control panel and check if it is set to auto-config DHCP, also look for MAC clone option, check if it's enabled. It sounds like your printer is not recognised and therefore isn't on the network. Try a different port as well.

not disabled - just a button there to press if I want to clone.

I think I need help from beyond the world of Win7 - this is an issue basically to install a printer to my wireless router.

If anyone knows how please tell me - otherwise Thanks very much for all the help so far!

Sounds good mtmark. Usually just unplugging the device then plugging it back in will let Windows see it again. Sometimes a restart is required. I'll mark this as solved once again. :)
