SOLVED - 7057 64 bit terrible wireless network performance

Wireless networking performance on my 64 bit install of 7057 is insanely slow: it times out and downloads max out at about 8kbs -- if I am lucky enough to connect to a website. My wireless adapter is a MSI PC60G card. Wireless performance on my x86 install of 7057 is perfectly fine. Dual boot on different physical hard drives, i.e., same hardware only difference is that I am using the 64 bit versions of the drivers.

Hi Oakmann and welcome to the forum,

I have never heard of that build, I think you may mean build 7057, have you installed all your drivers and made sure everything is up to date, also a newer build is out in the wild now, build 7068 in x86 and x64, so you may want to give that a try instead to see if that fixes the problem.

Problem solved

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry about the 2057 mistype and thank you for seeing past it.

I solved the problem. Since it was a new install, I chose to install a fresh copy the 64 bit 7068 build and I installed Ralink's driver, instead of using the MSI 64 bit drivers. Everything works like a charm.
