    WoL over the internet


    What do people recommend for a WoL client? I have tried Depicus, and it works great in LAN, but what should I enter if I want to do it from outside?

    You need to install a wake on lan proxy, that is supported on some modem, or get a layer 2 VPN such as L2TP to your lan.
    Personnaly, I use a wake on lan script on my ssh server which is accessible on internet.
    If you want to use wake on lan proxy, then you'll have to get a client which support this feature.
