Windows 7 cant find wireless networks

Hey all, sorry if this has been answered before but I am having alot of trouble.

Today I got a new HP Probook 4510s.
It came with Windows XP pro and as soon as it booted up it found 7 different wireless networks and I was able to connect time mine easily.
I then decieded to install Windows 7 as it came with the CD, after the installation was complete I booted up and for some reason it says it cannot find any wireless networks..
When I run a cable straight from the back of the router it connects perfectly..

I have spent all day trying to work out how to solve this, If anyone could offer any advice I would be extremely grateful!

for a reason unknown to myself I turned on the laptop today and was presented with several different available networks and was able to connect to mine without an issue.

    thanks anyway for your suggestion!

Thanks for reporting back in trust, the machine probably just needed a reboot or something.
