Okay, I changed the Network name from HOMEGROUP to Actiontec on the XP and restarted, the laptop and notebook can, however, still see and access MASTER (XP) despite the name change and restart.

I have NOT changed the name on the laptop or notebook...

Edit: Now they cannot see XP after they both have been restarted... need to change the name on them now.

Change all to "Actiontec" & reboot. They all need to be on the same workgroup.
