New Command Line Utility to Manage NIC Protocol Binding
27 Jan 2010 Update - The 32-bit version of this tool is now available as well.
One task which has always been difficult to script on Windows is enabling and disabling protocol bindings for network adapters. It has now gotten much easier. Keith Mange from the Hyper-V team has recently released a tool called NVSPBind (Network Virtual Service Provider Bind) for doing just that.
I won’t go into great detail here because John Howard’s blog already has the information you need. The tool can be downloaded here.
