    Sharing oddities

I have two Win7 systems. On one of them I am sharing a couple of directories and I have set the exact same permissions (i.e. full access for a specific user-id) for all those directories.

For some odd reason I can access one of the three shares without problems but not the other two. I don't understand that, because - as I said - the permissions are exactly the same.

I don't understand that! What could cause this different behavior?

    M.

PS.: Needless to say, that the user-id *has* permissions to access all those directories on the target machine (and he is member of the Administrators group).

Where are the 3 shares located in relation to one another. Are they just folders?

Problem resolved. I apparently had used the wrong pw when accessing the share. Strange enough I still could access one of them. Maybe the pw was cached?
