Sharing Help

I am set up on a home network right now, I want to share videos and music with my Xbox 360 and thats it. I remember with the WIn 7 Rc when you right clicked on a file or folder and chose share with no one, it would then turn the icon into a little lock, showing you that the folder was locked. I can't see that on any of the folders I tried to lock.

Is this feature still in windows 7 ?

Wouldn't you be needing to share with someone as appose to no one to share stuff?

When you say sharing music, do you mean the art of Media streaming?

I want to stream movies & music to my xbox, but I don't want to share any of my files with any other PC.

And why is the share with no one option not working like it used too? The lock icon is gone, It wont show after I chose "Share with no one"

Well if you enabled media streaming, others can access your pictures, music and videos. These are in C:\Users\<username>. If you do not share any other folders, how would they access your other files?

That still doesn't answer my question, why can't I see the lock Icon on the folder I just selected to share with no one?

If you elected to share with no one, that means it's not shared, why would there be a lockpad showing?
