Wireless Packet Loss and Connectivity Issues

Hiya,

Just upgraded from Vista HP to Windows 7 64 Professional and everything was working fine. A few days ago my internet stopped working, stating No Internet Access in the wireless properties. I managed to get that sorted by updating the drivers for my PCI card but now getting slow speeds and packet loss when pinging my router and google. Windows also thinks there is a problem because everytime I 'diagnose' it resets the wireless adapter and presumes that fixes it.

Here are a few diag notes -

As you can see there are a lot of Tx failures. Ping results follow -
C:\Users\Danny>ping google.co.uk

Pinging google.co.uk [209.85.227.106] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 209.85.227.106: bytes=32 time=64ms TTL=48
General failure.
General failure.

Ping statistics for 209.85.227.106:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 1, Lost = 3 (75% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 64ms, Maximum = 64ms, Average = 64ms

And pinging my router-

C:\Users\Danny>ping 192.168.1.1

Pinging 192.168.1.1 with 32 bytes of data:
General failure.
Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time=5ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time=4ms TTL=64
Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time=5ms TTL=64

Ping statistics for 192.168.1.1:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 3, Lost = 1 (25% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 4ms, Maximum = 5ms, Average = 4ms

Also tried in safe mode and that seems to ping fine...so something in live windows is preventing me from getting a proper access to my router but I can't see what. Only got windows firewall (which I have tried disabling but no luck) and no other firewalls installed.

Tried updating the Belkin drivers further and lost all internet access completely, it found my network but said it was unidentified and had no internet access.

Any suggestions? I think it's my PCI card but can't see how to fix it.
