Logging off of WHS from Win 7?
Searched with no results, high and low and google...get too much cross reference. Should be a simple fix...
Help is appreciated.
New install of Windows 7 here, new user. I connected to my WHS HP mediasmart server files, and got annoyed at my password login information popping up more frequently than it did with Vista. Typed "Guest" instead of my administrator login info when prompted, and checked save information. I wasn't worried about the save information check box because it obviously didn't take the first few times I typed in my administrator info. This is a home computer, so I am not worried as to who goes on and accesses my information. Problem is, I have seemingly permanently restricted my access to password protected folders, as I cannot log in as administrator and am stuck as a guest.
I have restarted server and computer, changed computer name, changed computer network name, disabled network card, searched high and low for where this information may be saved, and even made another account on my Win 7 build ...which info is still saved for
Any suggestions to delete this info, or be given the opportunity to log in again would be appreciated. Please let me know if this is not detailed enough.
I need to access some of my WHS files in order to install the WHS control center on this computer. Some of these terms may not be verbatim, but I think you will understand.
Thanks Again!
