    Linksys Firmware Upgrade issue


    Hey everyone. I was just installing the latest firmware upgrade for the linksys router I run off of.

    Everything was fine at first but then the page just went blank. I am able to connect and everything but when I got to the page (192.168.1.1) I get this;

    That doesn't make me to comfortable, anyone got any ideas about what it is and how to fix it? :|

    Try resetting the router, by disconnecting the power for 30 seconds or so.

    Can no longer connect via wireless, connected via ethernet through the router. Reset it, still a bunch of jumbled up words. Tried TFTP2 to flash the firmware again but it just says unable to get a response from server.

    Any suggestions? The router is a WRT54G2 v1.5

    Alright I got it to give me wireless again (hard reset, still unable to reflash it), still showing all those letters/symbols when I go to 192.168.1.1

    Nope. The only way I was ever able to upgrade firmware was via 192.168.1.1, when I try it with the utility 'tftp.exe' it just says 'unable to get a response from server'.

    I disabled Windows Firewall and I now get this error with tftp.exe (instead of the last one).

Linksys E3000 firmware

Does any one know where I can download the firmware(1.0.04) for a Linksys E3000 router? The Linksys site does not have it for download. I downloaded firmware from dd-wrt and my router doesn't work.
Should I upgrade the firmware of my netgear wndr3700 router so it will now support ip6 protocol instead of ip4. The update in in netgears website. The support for my router has expires so I would need to pay for support if there any problems. The netgear wndr3700 works perfectly right now...
