Windows 7: Folder cant be shared

Folder cant be shared
I create a folder, i right click on it and choose 'share with' i then pick 'specific people' then 'everyone' and when i click share button on the buttom it says i cant share folder, whats up with that?

just a random created folder on the desktop, i right clicked on the folder and hit properties, then sharing tab, then advanced sharing and shared the folder, now i can see it from another pc but i cant access it | | My System Specs | | |

from the windows 7 pc, when i go to network sharing center and click on 'see full map' i can see my xp pc but i can see any shared folders | | My System Specs | | Folder cant be shared problems? All times are GMT -5. The time now is 03:04 AM. |  |
Can you unshared a folder that's in a shared folder ?
