I need some guidance on this:
Currently I'm using a 2wire ADSL Wireless modem router... its good only on G standard. Now, I'm thinking of getting the Belkin or Netgear N wireless router for my wireless networking.
Question:
1) How can I configure this new router to co-exists with my modem router? (logically I think I've to disable all routing functions on the 2wire, if that is possible?)
Any help is appreciated.

Can you be a bit more specific on how you want the old router to "coexist" with the new one?
Could it be you want to keep the 2WIRE ADSL router in place but disable the "g" wireless and then use the new "n" in it's place?
If so, you'll need to shut off or disable the "g" radio in the 2Wire first. That's all you'll need to do there.
Next, shut of the DHCP server on the new "n" router. Give the LAN port a static IP address on the same IP subnet as the "g" router but outside it's DHCP server range.
IE: If the "g" router's DHCP server hands out addresses in the range 192.1658.1.2 to 192.168.1.150, use 192.168.1.151 or higher. If it uses the whole range, you'll need to make it smaller to make room for the "n" router's address. The reason for this is to allow you to manage the new "n" router.
Then take a CAT5 cable and connect from the LAN port of the "g" router to one of the LAN ports on the "n" router. *NOT* the WAN port!
What this does is turns the "n" router into a basic Access Point (AP). You've bypassed the router and DHCP server function on the "n".

Thanks for the information. Yes, that can the route to take. I want the 2wire to just to maintain ISP connectivity and N router handling all internal - wireless, DLNA, DDNS, etc.
