Remote desktop connection

Is it possible to remote connect to another computer from Win 7 ultimate 64bit if the other computer is running windows xp sp3 or any lower version of windows 7?

Win7 Enterprise, Win7 x86 (Ult 7600), Win7 x64 Ult 7600, TechNet RTM on AMD x64 (2.8Ghz)
 
 

Do you need to use Windows RDC ? or do you just want a good remote connection ?

I use TeamViewer

Thanks, I have my Home & Work computers set up with saved connections of TeamViewer, so I can always access them.
