Windows 7: Links breaking when changing location

Hi, I wonder if somebody there has had this problem, and has been able to resolve it: I work for a large company. I am creating a new structure on our drive. We are planning to move the folders with the files to the new structure.

In doing this, the links on the files would break. Has anybody got a solution of how to:
1- Identify the links in the files (there are probably about 800 files)

2- Change the links automatically

3- Any audit issues.

I heard there is a possiblity of creating a macro which could do this for us. Has anybody heard of this 'magic' macro?
