    No internet access

Hi, i wonder if anyone can help. I have a new desktop computer and accessed the internet via sky broadband via LAN. i have cancelled my sky and had virgin cable broadband installed. i opted for a wireless system (my desktop is wireless enabled). the virgin help desk operator went through it all with me and the router/modem is all set up. my problem is that although i connect to the network i have no internet access. The virgin help desk operator does not know why this is but someone has suggested that it may be the firewall blocking it. Also i still have sky broadband installed on my computer for another few days when it will be cut off.

    i would appreciate any help.

    Thanks.

when you finish your sky subscription, uninstall the software relating to it..
    - then use the Virgin installation disk to do a repair..
