    Wireless adapter wont enable

Hey guys, I need some help here before I throw my computer out the window

Trying to get my wireless adapter enabled on my PC, its a laptop on the side of the laptop there is a slide button to enable/disable the wifi, well when i slide it to enable, it wont turn on.

before i fixed this by disabling/enabling the adapter in the manage devices on my pc.

well now that doesnt fix the issue, windows says its enabling it but its not picking up any signal, and it was before, when i goto control panel> adjust commonly used mobility settings it says wireless off

    help! gharrrr, thanks.

the way you describe it just sounds like it isn't physically switching on, this is going to be purely controlled by the button on the side of the laptop ?

has this been happening since you got the laptop and has it ever worked ?

what make and model do you have ?
