| | Download speed issues Hi When I'm connected to my router by cable I get download speeds advertised (+15 megabits) by the ISD provider. When I disconnect the cable and connect the same computer wirelessly to the router, download speeds drop to below 4 megabits. Nothing else changes, connected by wire = high speed downloads; connected wirelessly = low speed downloads. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers Mitch |

What class ethernet cable? cat 5, 5e, 6? let us know Ken the router is a D-Link DIR625 Wireless N, 802.11n, firmware 3.08 the ethernet cable has CAT 5E printed on it the wireless network adapter is D-Link RangeboosterN, Marvell driver 1.0.5.2, the most up-to-date one that I can find thanks, Mitch |
