Windows 7: How do I setup network boot?

How do I setup network boot?

The tutorials on SevenForums for setting up a USB Flash Drive as a boot device are fantastic, and have helped me to save a lot of time when installing Windows 7 for clients onto their computers.

What I've done is take various Windows 7 disks (I have Home Basic, Professional and Ultimate right now) and transferred then to USB, so that I don't have to use their discs. All I have to do is enter their serial number.

I have two questions:
  1. My Windows 7 Ultimate, when installed without a serial number, does not ask me which version of 7 I want to install. How do I correct this?
  2. How do I install the necessary boot files onto a network share, so that I can setup a new PC to boot from network, and from there install Windows 7 via network?
