    Permissions

For about a month now i have been having trouble saving files to the system. I am running windows7 and i have windows 7 that is networked and part of the home group.

When saving files i keep getting the following information..

    c:\Users\me\desktop\filename
you dont have permission to modify the files in this network locations.

Contact the adminstrator per permissions to make these changes.

After i click ok and try to save again it states that this file already exists and do i want to save it again...clicking yes saves the file..

any help on this annoyance would be great

Are you the owner of the file? If not try to change ownership to you and see if it solves it
    Here how to do it:

yeah i am the owner of the file - looking at the files for some reason they keep defaulting to READ ONLY...even for files i create myself, some of these files i have used for months, i am just wondering since i installed a new anti virus NOD would this cause issues...???

i can save the files but the annoyance of having to save them twice is a pain....

    cheers
