- 1 main PC running Window 7 Ultimate 64,
- 1 networked PC running Windows Ultimate 32,
- 1 networked PC running Windows XP 32 SP3,
- 1 x 4 port video server with a static (configurable IP address)
The main PC is connected directly to the internet via ADSL, a second network card connects the rest of the above via a Gbit network switch.
Everything worked OK when all machines were XP - I upgraded to Windows 7 to be able to use more RAM in my main PC.
When trying to enable internet connection sharing I get the message 'An error occured while Internet Connection Sharing was being enabled. (null)'.
I've tried manually setting the home network IP address to 192.168.137.1 - still doesn't work.
Every time I re-boot my machine I loose the home network settings. Both network cards are Windows 7 compatible and have up to date drivers
All 3 PCs are networked & I can share files between them but no internet connection sharing for love nor money!
Oh, and remote desktop (to the main PC) is pretty erratic as well - disconnects after a very short time.
Please help, otherwise I will have to resort to learning Linux from scratch and leave Windows forever.
