Try rebooting your computer first - then see if you can open a CMD window (Start --> Run --> "cmd") and and ping your FTP server if it does not work after reboot.... | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number The Beast Model V OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Core i7 965 EE @3.6 GHz Motherboard eVGA x58 Classified3 Memory 3 * 4GB Mushkin Enh Redline CL7 DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3-12800) Graphics Card eVGA 560 Ti 448 Core Classified + eVGA GTX260 SSC (PhysX) Sound Card Realtek HD Audio (on-board) Monitor(s) Displays 2 * Acer X213Wbd Screen Resolution 2 * 1680 x 1050 Keyboard Logitech G15 Keyboard Mouse Logitech Performance Mouse MX PSU ThermalTake BlackWidow TX TR2 850 W Case ThermalTake Level 10 GT (Black) Cooling Corsair H100 CPU | 2 * TT 140mm TriLED | 2 * Antec TriCool Hard Drives 1 * Intel Cheryville 520 180 GB SATA III SSD |

I'll try that. But I can access it as in login to it and browse and download files, it's just uploading that doesn't work. I tested Filezilla and that works perfect, but that's to much to do to upload to my server. | My System Specs | | OS Vista Ultimate x64, Windows 7 RC 7100 CPU Intel C2D E8400 @ 3.8ghz Motherboard ASUS P5Q SE PLUS Memory 4x 2gb G.Skill DDR2 1600 Graphics Card nVidia GTX260 896mb Sound Card Onboard 5.1 Surround Sound Monitor(s) Displays 22" Acer LCD and 19" Westinghouse LCD Screen Resolution 1680x1050 and 1280x1024 Keyboard Old G15 Mouse Logitech G5 PSU Corsair H520X 520w Case Antec 300 Hard Drives Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 750gb

too much to do?
I us FileZilla all the time - it is dead simple.
However, I think that with Fx you might need to include your user name and PW in the URL, something like Code: ftp://username:password@xxxx IIRC for it to work.... | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number The Beast Model V OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Core i7 965 EE @3.6 GHz Motherboard eVGA x58 Classified3 Memory 3 * 4GB Mushkin Enh Redline CL7 DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3-12800) Graphics Card eVGA 560 Ti 448 Core Classified + eVGA GTX260 SSC (PhysX) Sound Card Realtek HD Audio (on-board) Monitor(s) Displays 2 * Acer X213Wbd Screen Resolution 2 * 1680 x 1050 Keyboard Logitech G15 Keyboard Mouse Logitech Performance Mouse MX PSU ThermalTake BlackWidow TX TR2 850 W Case ThermalTake Level 10 GT (Black) Cooling Corsair H100 CPU | 2 * TT 140mm TriLED | 2 * Antec TriCool Hard Drives 1 * Intel Cheryville 520 180 GB SATA III SSD |

I open Filezilla, and it takes for freaken ever to come up. My CPU jumps to ~30% as well with it. Still don't know why. I might just ditch this and wait til the RC comes out. -_- | My System Specs | | OS Vista Ultimate x64, Windows 7 RC 7100 CPU Intel C2D E8400 @ 3.8ghz Motherboard ASUS P5Q SE PLUS Memory 4x 2gb G.Skill DDR2 1600 Graphics Card nVidia GTX260 896mb Sound Card Onboard 5.1 Surround Sound Monitor(s) Displays 22" Acer LCD and 19" Westinghouse LCD Screen Resolution 1680x1050 and 1280x1024 Keyboard Old G15 Mouse Logitech G5 PSU Corsair H520X 520w Case Antec 300 Hard Drives Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 750gb

If Filezilla is too much to do then your doing it wrong.I use it on a daily basis and have to click maybe 2 times to upload something. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number PNY Technologies OS Windows 7 Ultimate Build 7100 RC x86/Windows XP SP3 x86 (Dual Boot) CPU Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20 GHz Motherboard PNY Technologies MBM630I7150 1.0 Memory 2GB Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GSO Sound Card NVIDIA HDMI Audio Device Monitor(s) Displays Acer LCD Monitor V223W Screen Resolution 1680x1050 Keyboard Gateway Mouse Logitech Hard Drives WDC WD7500AYPS-01ZKB0 [Hard drive] (750.16 GB) Internet Speed DSL |

Maka, read his next reply - it is having to do with CPU usage and such.
@Bryce - I suggest that you get a newer version of FZ, or, if you're using a new alpha / beta release, downgrade to the last stable version....
However, did you try the user name:PW method I mentioned above? I think that is Fx specific, IIRC.... | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number The Beast Model V OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Core i7 965 EE @3.6 GHz Motherboard eVGA x58 Classified3 Memory 3 * 4GB Mushkin Enh Redline CL7 DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3-12800) Graphics Card eVGA 560 Ti 448 Core Classified + eVGA GTX260 SSC (PhysX) Sound Card Realtek HD Audio (on-board) Monitor(s) Displays 2 * Acer X213Wbd Screen Resolution 2 * 1680 x 1050 Keyboard Logitech G15 Keyboard Mouse Logitech Performance Mouse MX PSU ThermalTake BlackWidow TX TR2 850 W Case ThermalTake Level 10 GT (Black) Cooling Corsair H100 CPU | 2 * TT 140mm TriLED | 2 * Antec TriCool Hard Drives 1 * Intel Cheryville 520 180 GB SATA III SSD |

you're also on a newer build of 7 than he is....that could be the mitigating factor since he is not OCing, thus having specs similar to yours.
(His specs say he is OC'd to 3.8, but in reality he currently is not since he had to perform a BIOS upgrade and it reset his settings to default....all this was covered in another thread). | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number The Beast Model V OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Core i7 965 EE @3.6 GHz Motherboard eVGA x58 Classified3 Memory 3 * 4GB Mushkin Enh Redline CL7 DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3-12800) Graphics Card eVGA 560 Ti 448 Core Classified + eVGA GTX260 SSC (PhysX) Sound Card Realtek HD Audio (on-board) Monitor(s) Displays 2 * Acer X213Wbd Screen Resolution 2 * 1680 x 1050 Keyboard Logitech G15 Keyboard Mouse Logitech Performance Mouse MX PSU ThermalTake BlackWidow TX TR2 850 W Case ThermalTake Level 10 GT (Black) Cooling Corsair H100 CPU | 2 * TT 140mm TriLED | 2 * Antec TriCool Hard Drives 1 * Intel Cheryville 520 180 GB SATA III SSD |
