    gpedit.msc default config.

hey all few months ago i went to gpedit.mcs and to "computer configuration, windows settings, security settings, local policies, security options"

and ****ed around in there trying to get my external hd using samba software to play movies/music over lan. And now i cant remember witch settings i changed. And now im on a lan with friends and they cant access my computer. xp/vista/win7 none of them can see me in network neighborhood or accessing me with \\computername

So my question is basically can i restore default setting for all of them? Create another user on the computer or something to change it back? or even just a screenshot of the whole page with default settings

    thanks in advance.

    The short answer is no.

Policy entries for computer are global and apply to the machine and not the user. The only way to undo what has been done is the go through each entry and make sure it is set to "not configured"
