Windows 7: Media Player Streaming Works Great...For Some Artists

Alright, so I hate being the new guy in a forum and throwing out a weird one, but I promise to reciprocate assistance.

I have a Win 7 desktop, fresh install of Ultimate. Homegroup works great locally and simulated locally (Himachi VPN). The problem I have is streaming through Media Player. I see the desktop from my other machines, but when I look at music, the only songs/albums/etc that show are artists who's names begin with A through J.

I have refreshed, rebooted, 're-shared' the libraries, reset my sharing settings, etc. Originally I actually only saw music with Artists A and B, and then a few of C showed up, and now all the way up to J. I don't know what made the others show up, but its been weeks so its not that its still indexing.

Locally, on the desktop, the whole library shows without any problem. On remote devices however (multiple) its just some artists regardless of my view. Searching within MP only yields results with the corresponding group of artists.

Any thoughts?
